With the Nest app, you can control it from anywhere and it is compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control. Its sleek design, with a large, bright display and metal finishes, complements any home's style.

Remote control and mobile notifications require a working internet connection and Wi-Fi. Alerts can inform you of potential issues with qualifying HVAC systems, meant to provide helpful information rather than an endorsement, representation, or warranty of any kind regarding the health of your HVAC system. They should not replace a diagnosis by a qualified HVAC professional.

Energy savings are not guaranteed and depend on energy usage, weather, and other factors. Voice control requires a compatible device, working internet, and Wi-Fi. Independent studies have shown that Nest thermostats can save an average of 10-12% on heating and 15% on cooling, with estimated savings of $131 to $145 annually, based on typical energy costs. Individual savings are not guaranteed.

Nest Renew requires a 3rd generation Nest Learning Thermostat, Nest Thermostat E, or the newest Nest Thermostat (sold separately), connected to a Google account, and is only available in areas served by major continental US grids for customers on specific electric utility time-of-use rates. Adjustments only shift electricity usage from heating and cooling.
