Wide Range Application - Works with 85% Systems Our thermostat is compatible with a broad range of systems, including single-stage 1 heat and 1 cool HVAC systems powered by gas or oil, electric furnaces, and heat pumps without auxiliary heat. It is designed for cool/heat only systems such as floor or wall furnaces. However, it is not compatible with 110V/220V systems. Before purchasing, please refer to the wiring diagrams in the fourth main image. Our thermostat supports conventional systems and heat pump systems with no more than six wires (RC, RH, C, G, W/O/B, Y). RC/RH represent cooling/heating power, C is the control wire, G is the fan switch, Y is the cooling switch, W is the heating switch, and O/B is the heat pump changeover valve.

24VAC Power Supply and C-Wire Requirement Operate our thermostat with a 24VAC power supply. The C-wire is essential and serves as the primary power source. Our thermostat does not support battery power. Without a C-wire, our thermostat will not power up (the LCD will not light up), and it will not function in your system. Before purchasing, ensure that a C-wire is installed in your home or determine if your home needs a C-wire power adapter. The C-wire and C-wire power adapter are sold separately.

Finding an Extra Wire as C-Wire If you lack a C-wire, check for an extra wire that can be used instead. This wire might be tucked into the wall or wrapped around the wire bundle. Once located, connect the unused wire to the C terminal on our thermostat and the other end to the C terminal on your heating/cooling system.
